Notes for printing this design
CLASSIC: print the box in an opaque filament (black or a dark colour so no light shows through the walls) and the lid in white or natural PLA/PETG at 0.2 mm layers; thin white layers glow best. Lay a 12 V or 24 V LED strip along the groove, feed the cable out of the hole in the back, and press the lid onto the ledge. LAYERED: print the face (body, glowing sheet and raised letters, laid face down so the letters are on the bed) as one multi-colour piece in an opaque body colour, white or natural for the sheet, and the chosen colour for the letters; print the rear lid separately. Stand the LED strip along the inside of the body, feed the cable through the hole in the rear lid and press the lid's rim into the body. If 3M VHB TAPE is chosen, the back has shallow 25 x 48 mm pockets and the maker supplies and fits the 3M VHB tape strips (included in the price): peel the liner and press the sign onto a clean, smooth wall. The LED strip, power supply and screws are not included.
